Epi-Pens and Medication
• As part of our church policy, we are not allowed to administer any medication to a child.
• Asthma inhalers and Epi-pens are the only medications that are allowed to be in the possession of a child that require them. A Medical Consent Form will need to be completed in case of emergency and your child needs help administering the epi-pen. Please see attachment for our medical consent form.
• Any child bringing an epi-pen or inhaler to camp must bring it in a separate fanny pack that the child can always wear for the entire duration of VBS camp at all times. Please check the expiry date on supplies prior to the start date of program.
• Children with allergies will be clearly communicated to leaders. We have a morning and afternoon snack and lunch provided which will be nut free, however we may not be able to accommodate all allergies. Please bring an extra morning and afternoon snack with your child if they have severe allergies.
Anaphylaxis Emergency Plan
