Prayer Items

At VBS, we believe that prayer is a powerful way to care for one another and bring our needs before God.

Prayer Support for VBS

How You Can Pray for VBS

1. The children

  • That each child would feel loved, safe, and welcomed
  • That their hearts would be open to learning about God
  • That they would build new friendships and have joy throughout the week

2. The families

  • That families would feel encouraged and supported
  • That parents would see God’s love through VBS
  • That this ministry would be a blessing to each home represented

3. The volunteers and leaders

  • For energy, wisdom, patience, and joy
  • For unity among the team
  • For God to strengthen and guide everyone serving

4. Safety and health

  • For God’s protection over every child and volunteer
  • For good health throughout the week
  • For smooth check-in, pick-up, and daily activities

5. The Bible teaching and worship

  • That God’s Word would be clearly understood
  • That the songs, stories, crafts, and activities would point children to Jesus
  • That the Bible truths taught during VBS would stay in their hearts

6. Outreach and impact

  • That children who do not yet know Jesus would be introduced to His love
  • That lives would be touched in a real and lasting way
  • That VBS would have an impact far beyond just one week

7. Mission donations

  • For the mission donation drive and every item collected
  • For Rev. Hawkins and his upcoming mission trips
  • That these donations would be a blessing to children and families in need

8. The details behind the scenes

  • For planning, setup, registration, and communication
  • For wisdom in every decision
  • For God’s peace over every unexpected situation

Thank you for praying with us.

We are grateful for every prayer and for your support as we prepare for a meaningful and joy-filled VBS.

This year’s theme is “Rainforest Falls: Exploring the Nature of God”. Kids will enjoy Bible stories, games, songs, and fun activities while exploring what it means to be rooted in a relationship with God, their creator—a safe place in life’s storms.
